It struck me as I read it.  David&#8217;s words are fitting for today&#8217;s society and they are so very clear and full of truth and need no explanation.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 7px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: normal; \"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 7px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 0.65em; \"><span style=\"font-family: 'Charis SIL', charis, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; \"><sup style=\"font-size: 0.65em; line-height: normal; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: text-top; \"><br \/><\/sup><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 0.65em;\">4<\/span><\/sup> \u201cL<span style=\"font-variant: small-caps; \">ord<\/span>, remind me how brief my time on earth will be.<br \/>   Remind me that my days are numbered\u2014<br \/>   how fleeting my life is.<br \/><sup style=\"font-size: 0.65em; line-height: normal; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: text-top; \">5<\/sup> You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand.<br \/>   My entire lifetime is just a moment to you;<br \/>   at best, each of us is but a breath.\u201d<i><br \/><\/i><\/p>\n<p> <sup style=\"font-size: 0.65em; line-height: normal; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: text-top; \">6<\/sup> We are merely moving shadows,<br \/>   and all our busy rushing ends in nothing.<br \/>We heap up wealth,<br \/>   not knowing who will spend it.<br \/><sup style=\"font-size: 0.65em; line-height: normal; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: text-top; \">7<\/sup> And so, Lord, where do I put my hope?<br \/>   My only hope is in you.<br \/><sup style=\"font-size: 0.65em; line-height: normal; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: text-top; \">8<\/sup> Rescue me from my rebellion.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve never read this Psalm before.
